Duane A. Davidson is the Washington State Treasurer-elect.
Davidson was raised in Carnation, Washington. He attended Central Washington University, and worked in the office of the Washington State Auditor. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He won election as the County Treasurer of Benton County, Washington, in 2003.[1] In the 2016 elections, Davidson was elected State Treasurer by winning 58% of the statewide vote. He also won every single county in the state, something that no republican has done in the last 50+ years in WA state. [2]
Davidson met his wife, Kathy, at Central Washington. They have three children, and live in Kennewick, Washington.[1]
