Duttalur or Duthalur is a village and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

The famous Vengamamba Temple, located in Narrawada, is just 7 KM from this place. People firmly believe that their wishes come true when they visit the temple. Every year, an annual festival called Tirunalla is celebrated on a grand scale in the months of June–July. Lakhs of people, thousands of vehicles visit the place during the festive season. The famous Ongole Bulls, known as the world’s best bovine species, displaying their might and that of their owners is a special attraction during the heavy bounder-pulling competition.
Udayagiri, which houses a fort, a mammoth hill, mosque and many temples built by Krishna Deva Raya of the Vijayanagara Empire fame, is located 12 KM away from this place. For nature lovers and historians, Udayagiri can be a good place for a quick getaway. The Udayagiri Hills is the main tourist attraction here and is mingled with history. The hill is mentioned in the Ramayana, where Hanuman, the monkey god carried the hill to Lanka for a rare herb called as Sanjeevini, which is found on this hill, to cure Lord Rama's brother Laxmana.
