Edinburgh Southern AFC are a Scottish amateur football club playing in Edinburgh. They are affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association in the Lothian and Edinburgh AFA, competing in the Lothian East division (level three). In the 2009–10 season they won the League Cup and the following season they won the league championship for the first time. In March 2011 Edinburgh Southern's legends took place in a charity match to raise money for St Columba's Hospice against the Heart of Midlothian legends in which they lost 8–1.[1] As of season 2013–14 they have been competing in the LEAFA Edinburgh East League which they are currently bottom of the league with 0 points after 3 games.
