Edoardo Stoppa (born 20 November 1969) is an Italian television personality.
Biography
Edoardo has a degree in psychology from the University of Padua and has dedicated himself to the study of acting with Lino Damian. He practices different sports such as skydiving, snowboarding and martial arts.
Career
He worked for Match Music and La7 in conducting programs such as Prima del processo, Zengi e Mango, Call game. Always on La7 he conducted for 4 seasons National Geographic presenting and producing documentaries. For All Music has created as co-author, creator and conductor together with Christian Sonzogni programs Modeland satire dedicated to fashion and music "Music Zoo". For Mediaset was an actor in many episodes of Scherzi a parte and he led Village. He also worked in radio and film.
Since March 2006, Edoardo Stoppa joins Team Sky, to run the international format E!News alongside Ellen Hidding. He also conducted the program "SHOCK" on Sky Vivo, for which he could bring out his skills as adventurous and passionate about extreme sports: Edoardo Stoppa is indeed skydiving instructor with over 5,000 jumps to his credit; he is snowboard instructor is for 5 years and has competed with Team Italia in the Campionato del Mondo ISF coming at the top of the world ranking list and winning a lot of races of the Coppa Italia; also constantly practice Muay Thai (Thai boxing) and is fond of free-climbing, surfing, motocross; as well as having a pilot's plane enabled the launch parachutists, towing gliders, twin-engine, turbine aircraft. His adventurous spirit led him to travel a lot, so knowing more than 90 countries.
Stoppa, already known for many programs conducted, however, became even more popular to the general public as the correspondent of Striscia la notizia in 2008, where he worked on animal welfare. Within several years, thanks to his inquiries, many cases of ill-treatment in Italy and abroad have been resolved. Many animals have been rescued and dozens of offenders of varying severity have been brought to justice. It has a stable relationship with the show-girl Brazilian Juliana Moreira, with whom he has a daughter, Lua Sophie, born July 25, 2011.
