Edward Bridgeman

Edward Bridgeman was an English High Sheriff.

He was Sheriff of Exeter in 1563 [1] and High Sheriff of Devonshire in 1578.[2] He is the ancestor of the Bridgeman baronets, the earls of Bradford and the Viscounts Bridgeman.

He had at least two sons Thomas and Michael. His grandson John became Bishop of Chester in 1619.
