The Paper Man (Spanish: El hombre de papel) is a 1963 Mexican drama film directed by Ismael Rodríguez. The film was selected as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 36th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.[1]

Ignacio López Tarso won the Golden Gate Award for Best Actor at the San Francisco International Film Festival[2] and Alida Valli was nominated for the Best Motion Picture Actress at the Golden Globes.[3]
