Elena Pirozhkova (born October 13, 1986) is a wrestler for the United States Olympic team of Russian origin. Wrestling in the 63 kg weight class, she won the gold medal at the Pan American championships in 2008, 2009, and 2010.[1][2] In 2010, she won the silver medal at the World Championship games.[3] She placed 5th at the 2011 World Championships.[4] Pirozhkova was born in Russia but grew up in Greenfield, Massachusetts.[5]
Born in Russia and moved to the U.S. when she was three years old, Pirozhkova attended Greenfield High School in Massachusetts.[6]
