Elephanz is a French pop rock indie band formed as a duo in January 2008 by the two brothers Jonathan and Maxime Verleysen originating from Nantes, France. Two other contributing members are Thibaud Vanhooland on bass and Clement Plaza-Illand on drums were included turning it into a full band.[1] They are signed to Blackbird / Naïve Records label Yamani Dazi. Elephanz music is inspired by pop melodies from the 1960s and 1970s with a new spin.

The formation released the EP Ideal Roommates in 2010 followed by a full album in 2013 titled Time for a Change both charted in official French SNEP Chart.[2] The title track from the album was the formation's first charting single.
