Emporia Public Schools (USD 253) is a Public school district, serving the Emporia, Kansas area.
Administration
Emporia Public Schools is currently under the leadership of Superintendent Kevin Case, Assistant Superintendent Dr. George Abel, Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, Dr. Andy Koenigs, and Assistant Superintendent Rob Scheib.[3]
Board of Education
The Emporia Board of Education is currently under the leadership of President Brent Windsor and Vice President Susan Brinkman. Other board members include Grant Riles, Doug Epp, Susan Brinkman, Art Gutierrez, Michael Helbert, Colleen Mitchell and Michael Crouch. Board Clerk is Dana Witten. The board meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays, of each month, at Mary Herbert Education Office (District office).[4]
