Eric John Liddell M.B.E is a former Hong Kong international lawn and indoor bowler.

Liddell was born in Victoria, Australia in 1925 and was a chief engineer for the Hong Kong telephone company from 1951. He represented Hong Kong at the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games and competing in six consecutive Commonwealth Games from 1954 until 1978.[1]

He won the gold medal in the pairs with Saco Delgado at the 1972 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Worthing and eight years later was part of the fours team that won the Gold medal at the 1980 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Melbourne. In between he won the pairs Gold once again with Saco Delgado at the 1978 Commonwealth Games.[2]

In 1975 he was made a member of the order of the British Empire in the British New Year Honours List for services to the blind and disabled in Hong Kong.[3] He was senior vice president of the Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association.[1]
