Eschata xanthorhyncha is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Hampson in 1896. It is found in Sri Lanka.[1]
Description
Wingspan is about 32mm. Fore wings with somewhat produced and acute apex. In male, head and thorax whitish. Palpi orange, banded with white. Fore legs orange fringed with white. Tarsi banded with orange. Fore wings with area between the postmedial and submarginal lines evenly irrorated with black scales. Hind wings fuscous black. Cilia whitish. Ventral side with basal two-thirds of wings suffused with fuscous black.
