Esfarvarin (Persian: اسفرورين, also Romanized as Asfarvarīn)[1] is a city in and the capital of Esfarvarin District, in Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census its population was 12,104, in 2,670 families.[2] People of Esfarvarin are Tat and they speak Tati language.[3][4][5][6]
