Euriphene abasa, the Black Nymph, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in eastern Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo (Equateur).[2] The habitat consists of wet forests.
