Euryzygomatomys is a South American rodent genus in the family Echimyidae.[1] It contains two species, found in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. They are as follows:
- Brandt's guiara (Euryzygomatomys guiara)
- Fischer's guiara (Euryzygomatomys spinosus)
