V.V. Excelsior Maassluis is a football club from Maassluis, the Netherlands, founded in 1918. The club's home ground is the 5,000 capacity arena known as the Lavendelstraat. Excelsior won the 2013 Hoofdklasse and became champions of the Topklasse just two years later.[1]
Also known as the Tricolores, the outfit, due to that win, was promoted to and is now playing in the newly formed Tweede Divisie as of the 2016/2017 season. [1]
