Spartak Yerevan FC (Armenian: Սպարտակ Երևան Ֆուտբոլային Ակումբ), is a defunct Armenian football club from the capital Yerevan. The club played in the Armenian Premier League.[1]
Club history
The club was founded in 2000 as FC Araks-Impeks Yerevan. Soon after, they changed their name to Spartak Yerevan FC and participated in the 2001 Armenian Premier League competition after obtaining the rights of the financially dissolved Araks Ararat FC. In 2003, the club was dissolved and the players moved to FC Banants.
