Fatma Sultan (1500–1573) (Ottoman Turkish: فاطمہ سلطان) was an Ottoman princess, daughter of Selim I and Ayşe Hafsa Sultan. She was the sister of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent.
Biography
She was married to Mustafa Pasha, the governor of Antioch where she was living until their divorce.
Then, she married Kara Ahmed Pasha, who was the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire between 1553 and 1555, and they had two daughters. After his execution, she either went to live in Bursa but returned to the Imperial Palace after the death of Suleiman I,or, according to other sources, was forcibly married to Hadim Ibrahim Pasha in or between 1556 and 1562, presumably as a punishment for her intrigues.
She died in 1573 and was buried in Kara Ahmed Pasha's tomb.
