Ficarolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Venice and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,754 and an area of 17.9 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Ficarolo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Brazioli, Colombara, Margutti, Trento, Vallicella Alta, Vallicella Bassa, and Vegri.
Ficarolo borders the following municipalities: Bagnolo di Po, Bondeno, Felonica, Ferrara, Gaiba, Salara.
