Filamentous bacteriophage fd is a type of filamentous bacteriophage known to infect Escherichia coli. It shares many structural and genomic similarities with Enterobacteria phage M13.[1]
Phage fd engineered to display immunogenic peptides may be useful as vaccines.[2]
