Finney Isles & Co Building

The Finney Isles & Co Building is a heritage-listed department store located at 196 Queen Street, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

The building was initially constructed on Queen Street in 1909 as a department store for Finney Isles & Co. In 1921 the northern neighboring building on Queen Street was purchased and in 1929 that building was extended and its facade rebuilt to match the original building.[1]

In 1992 the building was listed on the Queensland Heritage Register; at that time, the building was occupied by David Jones Limited which had taken over Finney Isles & Co in the 1960s.[1]
