Fitz is a small village in Shropshire, England.

The village is situated close to the River Severn, downstream from Montford Bridge and upstream of Shelton, near Shrewsbury.

It lies in the civil parish of Pimhill.

There is a red brick church - "St Peter and St Paul" - which was built in 1722 and restored in 1915 by Sir Aston Webb.[1] Eighteenth-century mathematician Edward Waring is buried in the churchyard.
