Pangasinan Five Star Bus Company, Incorporated, or simply known as Five Star is a bus company in the Philippines, servicing routes mainly in the province of Pangasinan, Central Luzon which includes Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Cagayan Valley which include the provinces Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Isabela, Cagayan[1] It is a sister company of Victory Liner.
History
Five Star was founded in 1983 in Metro Manila. It started as a city operation firm using ordinary buses. It grew in the 90s, after the closure of Pangasinan Transportation Co., or known as Pantranco North Express Inc.
For passengers en route to Pangasinan and Tarlac, the main stop may either be in Siesta Bus Stop in Tarlac City. Transit passengers are also allowed to disembark at Dau Bus Terminal, Mabalacat, Pampanga and Marquee Mall in Angeles, Pampanga on the other hand, for passengers en route to Nueva Ecija, the main stop is at Passengers Delight in San Miguel, Bulacan.
Five Star together with its sister company Victory Liner uses tachographs to monitor drivers who are over-speeding or who are speeding beyond 100 km/h per hour continuously.
In 2012, Five Star installed WiFi (Powered by Sun Broadband) on some of its air conditioned units to provide free internet for passengers. Luzon Cisco Transport, Inc. took the trips to San Fabian, Sta. Cruz, Zambales via Alaminos and Talugtug
In 2013, Five Star offers deluxe class, available only in Dagupan
Fleet
Currently, Five Star is maintaining and utilizing Nissan Diesel, Hino, Yutong, Hyundai, JAC Motors, Higer and MAN for buses for its fleet.
Fare Classes
Five Star offers air conditioned and ordinary fare buses both equipped WiFi, Five Star now offers deluxe with spacious leg room & restroom equipped for its passengers (available in Dagupan & Cagayan Valley trips). All of its buses are audio/video equipped
