It was released as the second and final single from their greatest hits album, The Best of The Jets on the MCA label. Success on the U.S. charts was dimishing for the group at this time in their career with the first single, "Special Kinda Love" peaking at number 83 on the R&B chart and failing to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. This song did not have any impact on the charts and was only released to radio stations for airplay.
