Emily Fortune Feimster (born July 1, 1980),[1][2] known professionally as Fortune Feimster, is a writer, comedian, and actress.
Early life and education
Born Emily Fortune Feimster, Feimster grew up in Belmont, North Carolina.[3]
She moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue comedy after graduating from Peace College in North Carolina.[4] In 2005, she joined The Groundlings Theatre to take improv and sketch classes. After four years of training, she was selected to be in the Groundlings' Sunday Company.[5]
Feimster identifies as lesbian.[6]
