Frank W. Putnam
Frank W. Putnam (born August 3, 1917—November 29, 2006) was an American biologist and author,[1] honored as a Distinguished Professor at Indiana University in 1974.[2] In 1970, he was made a Guggenheim Fellow and, in 1973, Churchill College, Cambridge honored him with an honorary degree[2] and was also then made a member of the National Academy of Sciences.[3] In 2013, the Frank W. Putnam Research Fellowship was named in his honor.[4]
