Günter Schliwka (born 9 May 1956 in Wolmirstedt) is a East German male former weightlifter, who competed in the middleweight class and represented East Germany at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 1977 World Weightlifting Championships in the 75 kg category. He participated at the 1980 Summer Olympics in the 75 kg event.[1] He won the bronze medal at the 1977 European Championships in the Middleweight class (330.0 kg).
