G. Vivekanand, also known as G. Vivek, is an Indian politician, and Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha. He represented Peddapalli parliamentary constituency.[1] His political party is the Indian National Congress. On 31 March 2014 he re-joined congress, quoting that he left congress earlier for Telangana, now that Telangana was given, it is time to get back to the party which he and his family were loyal to for decades.
Early life
G. Vivek is the youngest son of veteran Congress party member and former Member of Parliament G. Venkataswamy and Kalavathi. He did his schooling from Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet and did his medicine, M.B.B.S, from Osmania Medical College.
Career
G. Vivek was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha, after his father did not run the election. He is a member of coal committee and steel committee.
He is Vice Chairman of Visaka industries.
