GTV3 is a Government access television station that serves the Metropolitan Lexington and Fayette County area of central Kentucky.[1] In the Lexington Metro area, it can be viewed on Time Warner Cable channel 3.[2]
Currently, GTV3 is one of two locally based cable-only channels in the Lexington area, the other one being UKTV, the educational access channel of the University of Kentucky.
Programming format[3]
This cable channel airs over 700 hours of live Council meetings, and 600 hours of original programming each year. Most meetings are broadcast live, but some of them are replayed on a regular basis. A rotating bulletin board with information of city events is also utilized.

- Crosstown Traffic - weekdays 6:30-8:30 a.m. E.T.. A weekday morning program devoted to traffic reports through the use of traffic cameras throughout the Lexington area.
