Gaelan Patterson (born August 22, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Chamonix-Morzine in the Ligue Magnus of Norway. He was selected by the Calgary Flames in the 7th round (201st overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Prior to turning professional, Patterson played major junior hockey with the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League[1]
On July 16, 2010, Patterson was signed by the Calgary Flames to a professional contract.[2] He was assigned to American Hockey League affiliate, the Abbotsford Heat for his rookie professional season in 2010–11.
Released by the Flames as a free agent at the conclusion of his entry-level contract, Patterson signed a one-year contract in the ECHL with the Idaho Steelheads on July 18, 2013.[3]
