Garrha rufescens is a moth in the Oecophoridae family. It was described by Turner in 1946.[1] It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania.[2]
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are reddish with fuscous, obscure markings. The stigmata is minute, the first discal spot at one-third, the plical beyond it and the second discal at three-fifths. There is a basal dorsal spot and another median near the base. There are also obscure slender irregular transverse lines at one-third and two-thirds and a slender slightly dentate line from the midcosta, subcostal to near the termen, then bent to three-fourths of the dorsum. There is a terminal series of minute dots. The hindwings are grey.[3]
