Garrod and Lofthouse
Garrod and Lofthouse were a British printing company based in Caterham, Surrey, specialising in printing record sleeves.[1][2] The company were contracted to print material for EMI affiliated labels, and therefore are credited on original LP releases of the Beatles, including Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.[3] In 1963, they patented the design for flipback sleeves often found on UK LPs in the 1960s.[4]
