Gary Parrish

Gary Parrish is a sports columnist at CBSSports.com, a studio analyst for the CBS Sports Network and the host of "The Gary Parrish Show" on 92.9 FM ESPN in Memphis.[1] He first gained national prominence for uncovering one of the biggest recruiting scandals in NCAA history—a scandal centered on the fact that University of Alabama booster Logan Young paid Trezevant High School football coach Lynn Lang $150,000 to steer All-American prospect Albert Means to the Crimson Tide football team.[2] Parrish now primarily writes about college basketball. He previously worked at The Commercial Appeal newspaper in Memphis and now lives in that area with his wife (Kelly), two sons (Aiden and Oliver) and two pugs (Lola and Piper).
