Gelechia omphalopis is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Namibia.[1][2]
The wingspan is about 21 mm. The forewings are dark purplish-fuscous with whitish-ochreous markings. There are three small spots in a transverse series near the base, the lowest touching a short slender pale ochreous streak on the dorsal edge. There is a transverse blotch in the middle of the disc not reaching either margin and a small spot on the costa at four-fifths. The hindwings are grey.[3]
