George Anderson (born 25 December 1953) is a Scottish former professional footballer.
Anderson played as a defender for Morton between 1969 - 1981 and 1985 - 1987. He is 8th of the club's all-time list of appearances with 280 and was selected by then Scotland manager Tommy Docherty for a South American tour with the senior Scottish squad prior to the 1974 World Cup.
