George Cooper (December 12, 1892 – December 9, 1943) was an American actor of the silent era. He appeared on stage first, then in 210 films between 1911 and 1940. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and died in Sawtelle, California. His son George Cooper Jr (1920-2015) was also an actor, who acted in movies from 1947 till 1954.
