History
KenyanLyrics.com was founded in 2009 by Samuel Majani also known as Baba Ghafla In early 2011, it was realised that KenyanLyrics was too niche and not scalable. To help tackle these problems, a decision was made to transform KenyanLyrics into a bigger website named Ghafla! The venture was initially bootstrapped, then it was eventually funded by the 88 mph[2] seed fund, at a €100,000 valuation.[3]
