Glenair Airport - MD46 is an airport located in Howard County, Maryland
History
Glenair Airport is a private airport opened by eight adjacent property owners in March 1974. In 1989, members of Glenwood Estates Homeowners Association bought properties next to the airport, then attempted to close the airport. Citizens cited the danger from planes falling from the sky, which was countered with the low statistical probability relative to other common risks.[1][2]
