Glenys Roberts

Glenys Roberts is a British journalist best known for her work at The Daily Mail,[1] and a Conservative Party (UK) councillor for Westminster City Council in London.[2]

Journalism

In addition to her work for The Daily Mail, Roberts has contributed to Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Times of London, The Sunday Times and The Daily Express.[3]

In 2007, she won a libel case against her former employers The Telegraph after it claimed she had a vendetta against a restaurant near her home.[4]

Books

During the 1980s, Roberts authored two books: Metropolitan Myths and Richard Knight's Treasure.[5]

Personal Life

Roberts was educated at Girton College, Cambridge and married Mayfair tailor Douglas Hayward. She has one daughter.
