It specializes in freight management services[1] including LTL (less than truckload), full truckload, supply chain management, and domestic air and expedited shipping. History

GlobalTranz was founded in 2003 by two brothers and sons of the founder of Pilot Air Franchise established in 1985. In 1999 the Leto brothers worked for their father’s logistics company, Logistics Freight Systems.

In 2003 the brothers joined the 3PL arena when they founded GlobalTranz as an LTL, FTL, and supply chain logistics company.

In 2008, GlobalTranz joined the SmartWay Transport Partnership, which is administered by the USEPA as a means to encourage private businesses to voluntarily reduce environmental impact.

The company was named on the Inc. magazine 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies list in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The company received an Arizona Corporate Excellence (ACE) Award as the 19th largest private company in Arizona.[2]

The Arizona-based company has expanded to include their own in-house freight forwarding division operating under their expedited services department. Partner agents have access to their proprietary CarrierRate2.0, ShipperCenter, and CommandCenter software to manage shipments throughout the supply chain.
