Gonzalo Antonio Frechilla (born 8 August 1990) is an international soccer player from the Dominican Republic who plays college soccer as a midfielder for the FIU Panthers.

College

Maryland Terrapins 2009-11, FIU Panthers 2012-13: Second team all-Conference USA as a senior in 2013 … Led FIU with six assists and scored twice and was one of the team's co-captains… Played in nine games, making seven starts, as a junior in 2012 before his season was cut short due to injury. Produced two goals and two assists. Prior to transferring to FIU, spent three seasons at the University of Maryland. Appeared in three games as a sophomore in 2011 but did not finish the season on the team … Redshirted in 2010 while playing for the Dominican Republic. Appeared in three games as a freshman in 2009.

International

Dominican Republic international (2 caps, 1 goal). 2010: Made international debut in qualifying for the 2010 Caribbean Cup on October 14, started, and scored final goal in 17-0 blowout of British Virgin Islands. Started and played 53 minutes in 1-0 loss vs. Dominica three days later. Veteran of youth national teams for the Dominican Republic.

Amateur

Played in the youth systems of Bauger FC in the Dominican Republic and Newell's Old Boys and Nueva in Argentina. Attended Carol Morgan School in Santo Domingo, D.R., for two years.
