Good to Go marked a return to form for 7 Seconds, owing more to the sound of their 1980s hardcore sound than the new wave and pop they had produced in the late 80s and early 90s. In his review for AllMusic.com, Steve Huey called the album, "extremely well done."[1] It is their first record for Side One Dummy.
