Gorahkpur Cantonment is a railway station in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was originally constructed in 1914. It is likely to be electrified by May 2015 when Chhapra - Gorakhpur section's electrification will be commissioned. Gorakhpur cantonment railway station is a second largest railway station in Gorakhpur after Gorakhpur Junction. After electrification of Chhapra - Gorakhpur - Lucknow section train density of passenger and goods, both will increase across Gorakhpur Cantonment and station may need remodeling.
