The Governor of Central Province, Sri Lanka is the head of the provincial government and exercises executive power in respect of subjects devolved to the Central Provincial Council.^[1] The governor is appointed by the President of Sri Lanka for a period of five years.^[1] The current governor is Niluka Ekanayake.
