The Governor of Central Province, Sri Lanka is the head of the provincial government and exercises executive power in respect of subjects devolved to the Central Provincial Council.[1] The governor is appointed by the President of Sri Lanka for a period of five years.[1] The current governor is Niluka Ekanayake.
