Grand Marais is a community in Manitoba, Canada within the Rural Municipality of St. Clements. It is located immediately south of Grand Beach Provincial Park on Lake Winnipeg at the base of Grand Marais Point.
The community forms part of a Statistics Canada designated place named Grand Marais/Grand Beach.[1]
Demographics
As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Grand Marais/Grand Beach had a population of 252 living in 138 of its 1,016 total dwellings, a -31.0% change from its 2006 population of 365. With a land area of 2.59 km2 (1.00 sq mi), it had a population density of 97.3/km2 (252.0/sq mi) in 2011.[1]
