Great Day (1945) is a British drama film directed by Lance Comfort and starring Eric Portman and Flora Robson.[2] In the film, the small English village of Denley is thrown into excitement by the impending visit of Eleanor Roosevelt. However, the impoverished local squire is threatened with disgrace and ruin as the day approaches.
The film recorded a loss of $232,000.[3]
