The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) is an intercollegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division III. Member institutions are located in New England in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

The league currently has 12 full members:

- - Former women's college, now a co-educational college (Emmanuel since 2001-02)
- - Suffolk's men's sports teams joined the GNAC in the 1998-99 season.
Future Members
It was announced in June 2016 that the conference would be expanding over the next couple of years with the addition of Regis College in 2017-18, followed by the addition of Colby-Sawyer College in 2018-19.[1]
