Gregory D. "Greg" Baldwin (born September 13, 1960) is an American actor. He is known for replacing actor Mako in a number of voice roles after the latter's death in 2006.

Personal Life

Born in Grants, New Mexico, and raised in Spring, Texas, he currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife Melissa Baldwin of thirty years. Their two children, Sydney and Cooper, attend college out of state.

Career

Theater

He has worked in the theater extensively as Sidney Lipton in God's Favorite, Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Dr. Zubritsky in Neil Simon's Fools, and Count Otto Von Bruno in Bullshot Crummond.

TV series

He voiced Iroh for the final season of Avatar: The Last Airbender and later for the second and third seasons of The Legend of Korra. He can be heard as the ancient Jedi Master Tera Sinube and as the head farmer (season 2, episode 17) on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Films

Baldwin performed a substantial portion of Splinter's dialog in the movie TMNT after Mako died during production. In 2016, he appeared onscreen as commie writer "Dutch Zwiestrong" in Hail, Caesar!

Video games

Greg Baldwin reprises his role as Aku (from Samurai Jack) in the video game Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. Baldwin also voices Frank Fontaine, the main antagonist in BioShock; though Karl Hanover, who voices Fontaine's fake identity Atlas in the first game, replaces Baldwin as Fontaine in BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea. His voice can also be heard in numerous other video games, including Rainbow 6: Lockdown, Assassin's Creed 2 and F.E.A.R..
