Grevillea oldei is a shrub which is endemic to New South Wales in Australia.[2]
It grows to between 0.4 and 1.2 metres high.[2] The leaves are 1 to 3.5 cm long, and 1.5 to 6 mm wide and often have sharply pointed tips.[3] Flowers appear between June and February (early winter to late summer) in its native range.[2] These have red perianths and styles.[2]
Grevillea oldei occurs in eucalypt woodland or heath between Mangrove Mountain and Woy Woy.[3]
The species was first formally described in 1986 by Donald McGillivray.[1] The name honours Peter Olde.[4] Before the species being described, plants of this species were identified as either Grevillea trinervis or Grevillea capitellata.[1]
