Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare
The Groupe Scolaire Officielle de Butare (GSOB) Indatwa n’inkesha, also known as the Indatwa n'Inkesha School and originally the Groupe Scolaire d'Astrida, is a secondary school in Huye district, Butare, Rwanda. It was established in 1929 by the Brothers of Charity to educate Rwandans to assist the Belgian colonial administration. It is one of the oldest secondary schools in Rwanda.[1]
In 2004 President of Rwanda Paul Kagame visited the school to celebrate its 75th anniversary and thank the Brothers of Charity.[2] In 2012 the school celebrated its 83rd anniversary.[1]
