Gurukul Public School is a private secondary school run by the Shri Ram Sharnam Educational Trust in Khair, India. It is a co-educational day-cum-boarding school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).[1][2]

Facilities

Laboratories facilities

The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers. The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals along with national/local newspapers.

Affiliation and Examination

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and offers education up to the 12th grade in the streams of science and commerce. Unit tests, Half yearly exam and Annual exam decides the promotion of students to the next higher class. Final examination for Class X and Class XII follows centralized public examination system conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education.

Sports and Co-curricular Activities

The School has facility to support an array of sports activities like cricket, table tennis, badminton, volleyball. The school also has a small stadium. As a part of co-curricular activities quizzes, debates and cultural functions are organized from time to time providing an opportunity to the students to showcase their talent. The school always encourages the students to participate in various inter-school competitions.

Visiting Hours

Visitors may see the principal on all working days from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. They may, however see the principal at any other time by appointment .
